Robert A. Malmud
President / CEO

Robert A. Malmud, President of MAXimum Research, Inc., has been in the telephone interviewing industry since 1985, supervising and managing telephone and field data collection projects for both profit and non-profit companies from the pharmaceutical, health care, financial, advertising, manufacturing, industry associations, political campaigns, and communications industries.

Mr. Malmud started as an interviewer while still in high school. His enthusiasm, common sense, and hard work moved him up to sample coordinator, supervisor, and coordinating supervisor before he even graduated from Northeast High School. While working toward his college degree, he continued to work full-time in the data collection industry.

After receiving his degree from Temple University, he began to plan his own data collection service day and night. He found two partners from the telemarketing for non-profits and charities sector of the business and opened his first call center in 1992, called Tele-Research Center, Inc. Mr. Malmud was the managing partner of TRC until 1997.

On January 30, 1997, the partners of TRC sold the company to NCO Group, a publicly owned corporation. From then until January of 2000, Mr. Malmud was the divisional President of NCO TeleResearch, the market research arm of the company.

Mr. Malmud started MAXimum Research in February 2000 as the President, and sole owner of the corporation. The new offices were opened on August 15, 2000 at 1860 Greentree Road, in Cherry Hill, NJ. Mr. Malmud is a graduate of Temple University. He is an active member of the Insights Association and the American Marketing Association.

The programming staff at MAXimum Research, Inc. has more than 60 years of combined programming experience between them. In order to build upon this experience, the team keeps up to date on the latest software developments through continual training with Enghouse Survox, formally known as CfMC Survent.

Having all started as interviewers, our programmers have the ability to offer unique insight on what is most interviewer friendly and logically sound. Using Survox software means we can perform almost any survey work without worrying about the size, length or complexity of a study. Survox is considered the most powerful and flexible data collection software on the planet - especially for CATI and Web surveys. This package excels in complex quota control, sample clustering, centralized data management across modes, operational reports, and flexible sample management capabilities.

Our programming staff also has extensive training in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. This allows them to make your web surveys fit seamlessly into your own webpage, the client's, or a totally unique theme. Several features in the current software are the result of direct development between Survox and MAXimum programmers. This unique relationship allows us to accomplish things other vendors cannot with the software.

Considered trail-blazers within the Survox community, the programming staff at MAXimum Research, Inc. have received various awards and certifications through the years.

Our project management team has over 45 years of combined experience and prides itself on client satisfaction for each and every project. They are responsible for the overall execution of the fieldwork surrounding each research initiative. We strategically assign projects based on the type of study. Each project is reviewed to determine the most suitable Project Director based on their background and expertise as well as the specific needs of the study.

Our Project Directors analyze all facets of the research design to help eliminate unforeseen problems before they occur. They have the unique ability to anticipate unexpected issues and can make recommendations to the client. Their market research experience of telephone interviewing in the early stages of their careers contributes to this capability.

Working directly with our clients to develop the project schedule, our Project Directors help define the research instrument (screener, moderators guide, questionnaire, sampling procedure, tab plan, etc.) and coordinate all external communications. They are also responsible for checking final programs before client approval. Internally, they will manage all resources ensuring the quality, timeliness and accuracy of deliverables, including tracking response, incidence and cooperation rates.

MAXimum Research, Inc. Project Directors provide the strongest, most helpful and knowledgeable customer service in the industry.

We maintain a 300+ station telephone interviewing facility and employ more than 500 people. We use the well-known and most versatile interviewing software package available, Survox, created by CfMC. The software allows for dialing schedules tailored to fit any and all of our clients' needs.

Our phone room of specially trained interviewers, have completed projects in practically every industry, including, Healthcare, Financial, Business-to-Business, Retail, Travel, Telecommunications, Food & Beverage and more. These projects have ranged from customer satisfaction and tracking to positioning, advertising and everything in between.

All interviewers are sent through an intense two-week training program, which includes one-on-one and group trainings. They are specifically trained to hold and maintain the wide variety of respondents we contact, including physicians, nurses, company presidents, sales agents, heads of households, senior citizens, teenagers, etc. Over half of our phone room employees have at least two years of professional telephone interviewing experience.

MAXimum Research, Inc. takes many other steps to ensure quality control. In the initial basic training, interviewers become well versed in the general rules of market research such as verbatim, probing and clarifying, along with the importance of quality. These techniques are continuously taught in our ongoing training process.

Interviewers are thoroughly briefed on each project, by the project manager, before they begin dialing. During the course of a project, interviewers are consistently monitored by our highly trained phone room staff. In addition, a minimum of 20% of each interviewers' work is validated.

To increase productivity and boost morale, MAXimum Research holds many different contests and incentives for the interviewing staff. Various awards are given monthly and annually for production, quality, overall performance and tenure.
